How to Reset AOL Email Password

• Search and open the AOL email app on your Android device. If you don’t have the app installed, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
• Once you have the app open, there will be an option of sign-in screen where you normally enter your email address and password.
• Search and click on the “Forgot Password” or “Reset Password” button on the sign-in screen.
• You will be asked to enter your AOL email address associated with the account for which you want to reset the password. Input your email address and proceed to the next step.
• Next, AOL will ask you to select a verification method to confirm your identity. You might have options like “Email,” “Text message,” or “Call.” Choose the method as per your preference.
• Email: AOL will send a verification code to your alternate email address linked to your AOL account.
• Text message: AOL will send the verification code to your registered mobile phone number.
• Call: You’ll receive the verification code via a phone call to your registered mobile number.
• Depending on the verification method you chose, check your email, phone’s messages, or answer the call to obtain the verification code.
• Once you have the verification code, enter it in the AOL app where prompted.
• After verifying the code, you’ll be directed to create a new password for your AOL email account. Enter a password which you haven’t used before, make sure that is strong and secure.
• You will be asked to re-enter the new password for the confirmation process.
• Once the password is successfully changed, you’ll receive a confirmation message. Your AOL email password has been reset.
• Now, you can use your new password to sign in to your AOL email account on the Android app.
